Dr. Ryan Lee is a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Fairfield University. Having worked in both outpatient and residential treatment centers, he is certified in addiction treatment and specializes in co-occurring mental health and substance use issues. Ryan previously worked with veterans in both medical and psychiatric facilities, and his past experience has made him adept at providing trauma-informed care. Ryan completed his doctoral research on the use of eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR) as a novel approach to addiction treatment. Ryan is a member of the International Society on Addictions Nursing and has advocated for the expansion of addiction services at the federal level in light of the recent opioid epidemic. As a holistic psychiatric provider, Ryan takes a person-centered approach to treatment that takes into account not only the biological and psychological, but also spiritual components of healing. Dr. Olivia Lee is a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. She has previous experience working in a community-based mental health clinic, as well as at partial hospitalization and residential treatment centers. She holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Nursing and in English, as well as a Doctoral degree in Nursing, all from Fairfield University. As a psychiatric provider, Olivia has a strong passion for working with patients struggling with depression, anxiety and eating disorders. She has completed extensive research, including the use of mindfulness-based group work in the treatment of disordered eating and promotion of positive body image. Olivia is a member of the American Academy of Eating Disorder’s Advocacy and Communications Committee and serves as a freelance writer for various publications, aiming to promote eating disorder policy and awareness.
